Lob Bot is now called Lobstack

The desktop app takes the company's name in 0.8.0. Your bots, threads, keys and settings stay exactly where they were.

The app now has the same name as the company and your account.

What changes

  • The name, the icon, the window and the Windows installer say Lobstack.
  • On Windows and Linux the update installs in place. The old "Lob Bot" entry, shortcut and taskbar pin are replaced, so there is one copy, not two.
  • On a Mac an updated copy may keep the old name in Applications until you download it fresh. It works the same either way.

What does not

Your bots, threads, keys and settings stay exactly where they were. One migration renames a workspace called exactly "Lob Bot", the name the app gave your first workspace, to "Lobstack". Any other name is left alone. The migration is forward-only: once 0.8.0 has opened a workspace, an older version cannot.
