Is it free?: Free to download. Your first sign-in from the app adds $5 of credit for 30 days. After that it runs on the Free plan’s $1 a month, or on a paid plan.
Do I have to use the Lobstack API?: No. It uses the Lobstack API by default, with a receipt for every call. GitHub Copilot or your own provider key also work, and neither needs a Lobstack account.
Where does my data go?: Your computer. The workspace, connector vault, sessions and logs are one folder on your disk. Prompts go to the model and connector traffic goes to that service. No telemetry, analytics or crash reports.
How are credentials stored?: Encrypted, with the key in your operating system’s credential store: Credential Manager, Keychain or Secret Service. Secrets never enter the database, and values are redacted as they are written.
Is it finished?: It is a public beta. Nothing is code-signed yet, so Windows warns on the first run and macOS needs a right-click the first time you open it.
