GitLab

Issues, merge requests, pipelines and repository files.

Ask your bot to…

  1. “List the merge requests waiting on my review”
  2. “Summarise the failing pipeline on main”
  3. “Open an issue for this bug”

How to connect

  1. 1

    Get a personal access token.

Needs the read_api scope, or api if you allow writes below. It acts as you, across every project you can see, until you narrow it with the field at the bottom.

    Create a GitLab token
  2. 2

Open Connectors in Lobstack and choose GitLab. Paste it in.

    API URLOptional
Only for self-hosted GitLab. Leave empty for gitlab.com.
    Only these projectsOptional
Comma separated ids or paths. Left empty the bot reaches every project the token can, which for a personal token is usually all of them.
    Allow changesOptional
Off, a bot can read but not merge, push or create projects (65 tools instead of 118).
  3. 3

    Give it to a bot.

A bot reaches only the connectors you give it.
