1Password
1Password Environments, through 1Password’s own server in its desktop app: list Environments and their variable names, and add new ones. It never hands a secret value to an agent.
Once it is connected, ask for things like these.
01
“Which variables does the Production environment have?”
02
“List my 1Password Environments”
03
“Which .env files are mounted from 1Password here?”
Connect it in the app, then give it to an agent.
Step 01
Open Connectors in Lobstack and choose 1Password.
- Allow changesOptional
- Off, an agent can list Environments, variable names and mounted .env files. On, it can also create and rename Environments, add variables and mount an .env file. Each change still asks you first.
Step 02
Give it to an agent.
An agent reaches only the connectors you give it.
What it gives an agent.
Examples. The server decides the real list when it starts.
- list_environments
- list_variables
- list_local_env_files
- create_environment
